StomperNet in Atlanta

So I am just getting home from the last StomperNet seminar held in Atlanta (there are 4 FREE seminars each year) and I had a blast.  This particular seminar was very small compared to all the others but it was ten times better than all the others.  The structure of this last get together was personal and insightful.  I learned more at this event than I have at all the others combined.

I attest this to a number of different things.  The first being the most important and one that you need to pay special attention to. With StomperNet coming to the end of the first year, there was a ton of information to digest. Having information is fine but you need to apply that information. Everyone knows by now that I have a site that sells Eragon swords, among other things, and during this year of StomperNet I learned and implemented a lot of different things and ideas. Now, while the information and ideas are great and definitely worth every single dime I have spent to further my education, the light bulb finally came on. Learning and having the resources you need to succeed is one thing but finally really understanding the reasons why you do it takes time and practice to fully "get it" and this weekend, after almost a full year with Stomper, I get it.

The other great part of this particular seminar was being able to really get the one on one time with the faculty.  This format was entertaining, educational and personal. Its quite amazing that we are all in the same race. Some people just happen to be a little further ahead and some are just coming out of the starting blocks but in the end, everyone has the same goals and that is to keep on running.  There is never a finish line folks. Its always just a race and you have to get a number and signup to get in the race but once you get started, you will soon notice that you are trotting along at a nice pace and the rest just seems to line up.

The best news of all is that StomperNet 2.0 is coming which means the doors are going to open again soon and when it does, you need to be ready to get the education you need to be successful in this multi billion dollar Internet world.
