Ok really, let’s talk straight. You are only as good as the equipment you are on. Have you ever heard that? Internet ecommerce is the same way. If you are using bad equipment or systems to run your business, you don’t stand a chance of being successful. It’s just that simple.

My business is running Internet websites. We have multiple ecommerce businesses that do very well. I have an office with 1 full time employee and together we run about 4 websites that generate over 10k per month in pure profit (per site). That’s not a joke. One of our sites sells swords and does well over 20k profit each and every month. Don’t believe it? Do a search for fantasy swords on Google. Do a search for replica swords on Google. Wanna know the best part? That particular site is only 1 year old. It was doing over 10k per month in gross sales by month 3 and all from natural rankings…no money paid out for advertising.

It’s not about just having a website anymore. It’s about having a website that has all the functionality and is search engine friendly. Since I do this for a living, I know what works and what doesn’t work. I have already done everything for you so if you take over one of my websites for sale; you merely need to know how to type. If you can spend a few hours per day writing some news articles, getting some links from other sites, writing good descriptions for the products and category pages, you will absolutely have a successful business.

When you are reviewing a business to purchase, you need to view the site. Is it professional looking? Does it have real .html pages or does it have some nasty long dynamically driven url that looks like domain.com/shop/index.php?=product_detail&p=792 this? That’s not search engine friendly! You will never get pages to rank with a system like that. And the sad part is that 85% of all sites being sold at BizBuySell.com, SitePoint.com or even Ebay.com is because they are like that and not making money so they are selling it. It’s not because they didn’t work hard enough and it’s not because they didn’t originally want it to succeed. It’s because they are on bad equipment and didn’t do enough research on what shopping cart platform to use!

It does not take 6 months to get listed in Google, it does not take 6 months to get ranked and it is not that hard to own and operate a successful business. You just need the right tools. I have already done it all for you. The system is perfect, the backend management is idiot proof, the drop shippers have all been found, the blog is already working. That’s another problem with other businesses that are being sold. If 1,000 other websites use the same drop shipper as you do and they all use the same product image and description as listed on the manufacturers’ website, how would your pages or content be any different from the other 1,000 sites using the same info? That fact is, IT WONT! This is another reason people tend to sell their business and another thing you need to watch out for.

I don’t have time to take the calls and spend time on the site so I figured I would just help someone else. If you did a site from scratch, it would cost you at least 10-15k just to get a site built and designed. Add in the fact that I have done all that plus found the drop shippers, plus added a blog, plus added all the products, plus formatted all the images, plus added all the content, plus all the extra programming…my sites have sold for over 50k. It’s a no brainer if you are looking for a solid business to jump into.
